Workday Wags is your local dog and cat care service, right in the heart of the North Loop, also serving our nearby Gateway & Mill District neighbors. Our business was created for busy city pet parents who want dependable, in-home care without sacrificing warmth or personal attention. We specialize in dog walking, cat visits, and light in-home pet support tailored to modern urban living.

We started Workday Wags to support both people and pets—and, honestly, ourselves—because we’re keep-moving-all-day kind of people. We love the energy of this area and enjoy wandering the streets of the North Loop and downtown Minneapolis, especially with our own sweet boy, Moki, featured in these photos.
We moved to the neighborhood last summer and instantly fell in love with the activity, vibrancy, and welcoming community in this part of Minneapolis. This place is our home, and we’re thrilled to share its energy with all our new furry friends!

15-20 Minute Quick Visit
Quick visits for potty breaks and wags or routine cat care. Mid workday check-ins or recurring daily visits when you’re out of town.
30 or 45 Minute Visit or
Dog Walk
Extended in-home cat check-ins or extra attention for dogs, with walks that fit their age, energy, and routine. Perfect for mid-day exercise, social time, and finding out what everybody else in the neighborhood had for breakfast.

Overnight Sitting
Overnight care for dogs and cats on a case-by-case basis. Each stay is tailored to your pet’s routine and personality to keep them safe and comfortable while you’re away.

Hours and Policies
We’re Available
We operate during the workweek, Monday through Friday 9:30AM to 4:30PM. We can often accommodate appointments outside of normal business hours, including Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, ensuring your dogs get the exercise and attention they need, and your cats are cared for while you’re away.
Our Requirements
Please make sure your pet is up to date on vaccinations and free of fleas and ticks to ensure the best experience for all of our clients. Additionally, please let us know how your dog does around other dogs and people so we can meet their needs while ensuring the comfort and safety of other clients, the friends we meet on our walks, and ourselves.

We are an eco-friendly, human-powered dog walking and pet care crew. No cars, no emissions, just happy walks and visits!

North Loop
We primarily serve clients that live inside the area of Great River Road southwest to N Washington Ave/ N 3rd St, and N 10th Ave/ N 8th Ave southeast to Hennepin. If you live just outside this area, please inquire – we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
Gateway and Mill Districts
We primarily serve clients that live inside the area of Great River Road/ W River Pkwy southwest to Washington Ave S/ S 3rd St, and Hennepin Ave southeast to Park Ave. If you live just outside this area, please inquire – we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
